On 17th November, 2021, Nigeria hosted a reception on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme.
The event had in attendance the Honourable Minister of Water Resources, Engineer Suleiman Adamu, Honourable Minister of Information and Culture, Hon. Lai Mohammed, Ambassador of Nigeria to UNESCO – H.E. Dr. Hajo Sani, OON, Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences, Ms. Shamila Nair-Bedouelle, the Emir of the Hausa Community in Europe, Alhaji Djankado and many other important guests.
