On 18th November, 2021, UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB) celebrated its 50th Anniversary. At the event, Mr. Vik Muniz, Brazilian Artist and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador presented his Artwork and Ms. Sabrina Krief, French Primatologist, presented the first results of a project using drones for the monitoring of Biosphere Reserves
Nigeria as the Chair of the MAB-ICC discharges it’s functions through the leading of the Federal Ministry of Environment and the Director General, Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), Dr. A. O. Adepoju, as the Focal person.
