The Permanent Delegation of Nigeria to UNESCO is happy to announce the arrival of the new Ambassador, Permanent Delegate, Dr. Hajo Sani, OON. Formerly the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Women’s Affairs and Administration, Office of the First Lady, Dr. Sani brings with her many years of experience as an Educationist and Policy Analyst, in the service of the Nigerian government.

Dr. Sani to the offices of the Permanent Delegation of UNESCO, during her visit to France, on 18th May, 2021, where she was introduced to all members of staff. While addressing the staff of the Delegation, Dr. Sani thanked them for their efforts in continuing and upholding the work of the Delegation. She expressed her desire to continue the work of advancing Nigeria’s interests and good standing in the comity of States at UNESCO.
Dr. Hajo Sani, OON has officially resumed and will shortly present her credentials to the UNESCO Director General.
