Ms. Audrey Azoulay while on her first visit to Nigeria, on the invitation of the Nigerian Government to be a part of the 33rd Session of the International Coordinating Council of the Man and Biosphere (MAB-ICC), visited the Oban Biosphere Reserve in Cross River State. The Oban Biosphere Reserve is one of Nigeria’s four (4) distinguished Biosphere Reserves ranked in 2020 by UNESCO MAB-ICC. The Director-General visited the Reserve in company of the Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of Nigeria to UNESCO, H. E. Dr. Hajo Sani, the Chair of the MAB-ICC, Prof.Adeshola Adepoju and Honorable Mfon Bassey, the Commissioner of Environment, Cross River State, who welcomed them on behalf of the Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Prof. Benedict Ayade.
