on 1 October, 2022, members of staff of the Embassy of Nigeria and the Permanent Delegation of Nigeria to UNESCO, as well as friends and well wishers, gathered to celebrate Nigeria @62 at the Nigeria House, France.
The event started off with remarks from His Excellency, Ambassador Kayode Laro, the Ambassador of Nigeria to France. His Excellency highlighted some pertinent milestones achieved by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. He added that, in spite of the challenges ravaging Country, there is indeed cause for celebration.”
Her Excellency, Dr. Hajo Sani, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of Nigeria to UNESCO, in furtherance, expressed her gratitude for being a part of the event, which is her first national event she’s attended since her arrival in France. Furthermore, she stated that ” indeed, just like his Excellency said, at 62, Nigeria has come a long way into maturity as a nation, there is therefore no greater forum for all of us as diplomats and members of the two different entities and representing our dear Nation here in France, not only to be happy but to be grateful to the Almighty for this opportunity.
