On Monday, 28th February, 2022, the Naval Officers’ Wives Association (NOWA) paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Delegation of Nigeria to UNESCO, Paris, France. The Team which was led by its President – Hajiya Nana Aisha Gambo, wife of the Chief of Naval staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, met with the Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of Nigeria to UNESCO, H.E. Dr. Hajo Sani, OON, the Deputy Permanent Delegate, Mr. Imoh Sunday Egbo, as well as other diplomatic and non diplomatic staff of the Delegation.
The Delegation Advisor – Dr. Oladele Aderemi, together with the Ambassador, Permanent Delegate, briefed the Group on the functions of UNESCO, its structure, aims and objectives, Governing bodies as well as the mandate of the Permanent Delegation of Nigeria to UNESCO.
Subsequently, the Group’s President – Hajiya Nana Aisha Gambo presented a plaque of honor to Her Execellency, Ambassador Hajo Sani.
