Remarks from the Honourable Minister of Education at the Transforming Education Pre-Summit, UNESCO HQ, Paris

On 28th June, 2022, the Honourable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, participated and coordinated the Session on “Addressing the Global Learning Crisis with Foundational Learning” during the Transforming Education Pre-Summit, held from 28th to 30th June, 2022. 

 

The objective of the session was to share leadership and best practice examples from countries where interventions are working at scale to address the learning crisis. The Honourable Minister presented on the efforts of Nigeria to improve foundational literacy and numeracy acquisition, including good practices, classroom and system level learning assessments.
